Learn to say "hello" in other languagesYou certainly know how to say "Hello!" in English, maybe in French, Spanish or German too - but what about Danish? Portuguese? Russian? Or... Armenian? Lithuanian? Polish? Europe is and will remain multilingual. This is one of the messages of the European Year of Languages organised by the Council of Europe and the European Union. Estimates vary but there are well over 200 spoken indigenous languages in Europe.

following game challenges you to recognise "Hello!" in as many
languages as possible. To make things a bit easier, only those languages which are the official languages in one or more of the 45 states
taking part in the European Year of Languages have been selected.
